FOUR SEASONS SERENGETI
FOUR SEASONS SERENGETI
In September 2017 I traveled to Tanzania with Matador Network to shoot stills and video for the Four Seasons Safari Lodge in Serengeti National Park. From bush walks with the Masai to a sunrise hot air balloon ride, our itinerary offered experiences that were educational, immersive and truly one of a kind.
Our team also attended a presentation about the Frankfurt Zoological Society's Serengeti De-Snaring Program, of which Four Seasons Serengeti is a founding member. Poaching snares are set up to catch game that can be harvested as meat, but the wires also harm animals like lions and elephants. Since launch of the Serengeti De-Snaring Program in 2017, tens of thousands of snare traps have been removed, and with the continued support of park concessionaires, this initiative will ensure that these amazing animals are protected in the years to come.

SOUTH DAKOTA DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM
My first assignment with the South Dakota Department of Tourism was in January 2019, and the goal was to highlight winter experiences in the western part of the state. After visiting Badlands National Park and hitting several trails in Custer State Park, I teamed up with Women Who Hike and explored the frozen waterfalls in Spearfish Canyon.
Despite the chilly weather, I fell in love with the landscapes in SoDak, so working with the DMO again in July 2019 was a no brainer. I returned to Spearfish, Custer and the Badlands, focusing on landscape photography and creating the perfect road trip itinerary for summer visitors. Thanks to a record-breaking amount of precipitation earlier in the spring, everything was a verdant paradise, and I feel lucky to have captured some of the images below.
